We are looking for qualified and caring individuals to serve on our Board.

If you are interested (or know someone who might be), talk to one of our existing members about their experience. Read the BOD manual, SANDS Bylaws and SANDS Policies then fill out a SANDS Board of Directors Application or print and forward it to info@sandsaz.org or mail it to PO Box 17011, Tucson, AZ 85731.

We are also looking for chairperson/s for our annual SANDS Walk for Down Syndrome, if interested contact us at info@sandsaz.org.

The SANDS Board of Directors is composed of a group of very dedicated individuals who donate their time, knowledge and passion to SANDS.

SANDS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit umbrella organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with Down syndrome in Southern Arizona. SANDS is run by volunteers, self-advocates, an executive director, and is funded through donations and grants.
