Phebe Loves Gymnastics!"Finding Physical therapy services for our 8 year old, Phebe, is very hard. There are limited resources on the Southeast side of Tucson, so I had to look into alternatives. I came across Old Pueblo Gymnastics FitnAZtics program that provides 1:1 with an Occupational Therapist. After a year long wait we were able to participate in this program. We do not have ESA and they do not take insurance so we have to pay for this program out of pocket. Fortunately for us we qualified for the GOLD Grant program this year. It has really helped us continue this service and relieve some of the financial burden it has caused. We are grateful to SANDS and excited to see Phebe become stronger, more confident in her ability and have fun in this adaptive gymnastics program."

Aja got her first bike!"Aja got her bike, it's a very nice tricycle and she got to pick the color she likes and a pink helmet. Super cute! Thank you so so so much! We will let her practice more inside my apartment complex.
Again, I want to say thank you for this amazing GOLD grant for Aja to receive a tricycle so she could enjoy the wind blowing on her face when she rides her bike!" -
Kade is achieving his goals!“Thank you so much to SANDS for their generosity in helping Kade to achieve his goal. This past year, he had a goal to be in the Coyote Trail Elementary Talent Show and play "Cinderella's Waltz" on the piano. With the help of SANDS, Kade takes weekly piano lessons and practices at home in addition. Kade was amazing in his tryout and made the talent show! He did so good in playing in front of the school and then in front of families and friends. Not only did he achieve his goal, but this also helps tremendously with finger dexterity, coordination, and reading music. We can't thank SANDS enough for their continuous support for Kate and the rest of the community!"

Eva Luna and the magic of dance!“My daughter was very shy before attending dance class. It has helped her make friends, it's given her confidence and actually works as therapy for her hip. She is in the younger class right now because of her lack of movement but everyone looks out for her and they support her throughout the class. We have seen tremendous improvement and hope it will continue to make her stronger. Thank you to SANDS for supporting my daughters dance class with the GOLD Grant.
