Registration for the 2026 Walk for Down Syndrome is Open!!
The SANDS Walk for Down Syndrome is the primary fundraiser and awareness-building event for the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome (SANDS). The Walk is an extended family picnic for the entire community that features a resource fair, food, entertainment, and celebration. Although the Walk is less than one mile, it is the largest walk of its kind in Southern Arizona and anyone can participate without special training.
How YOU Can Help
This inspirational and educational event celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down Syndrome. It is designed to foster community involvement and have long-lasting, positive impacts on the Southern Arizona community.
Here are some ways that you could support us:
Organize a team to celebrate your loved one with Down syndrome and invite your friends and family to join
Organize a company team to participate
Offer an in-kind donation of your products or services for the SANDS Walk for Down Syndrome (e.g. refreshments for participants, product samples, music, etc.)
Provide monetary donations to fund ongoing programs and services
Whether you have Down Syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join the SANDS Walk for Down Syndrome!
