SANDS is a fully certified 501(c)3 public charity supporting families and individuals with Down Syndrome in Southern Arizona.

The Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome is a formally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Following our successful completion of the IRS initial review period, we have been officially reclassified as a public charity under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. This status confirms that contributions to our organization are tax-deductible, allowing us to continue our mission with the support of our community.
